From our family at RBG Surfaces to yours — happy Thanksgiving. This time of year, we find ourselves thinking about what we're actually grateful for, and at the top of that list are the people who've trusted us with their homes.
Togetherness
Countertops end up being where families gather. The kitchen island where kids do homework while dinner gets made. The surface where holiday cooking actually happens — three people working around each other, flour everywhere, not enough counter space. The bar top where people linger after a meal because no one's quite ready to leave yet.
We think about that a lot. The work we do ends up in the middle of people's lives. That matters to us. We want it to be right.
Generosity
This year we've been proud to support some organizations doing real good in the Treasure Valley — Boise Coder Connect, the Garden City Police Department, and others. Being local means having a responsibility to the community, not just operating in it.
If you've got a charity or cause you think we should know about, we're always listening. One of the benefits of being family-owned is that we can actually make these decisions without running them through a committee.
Gratitude
We're grateful for every customer who's walked into our yard, trusted us with their project, and come back when they had another one — or sent a friend our way. Word of mouth is how we grew, and it's how we stay. We don't take that lightly.
We're grateful for our team. The people who show up every day, handle heavy stone without complaint, and take pride in getting the details right. They're the reason the work is good.
Have a great Thanksgiving. Eat too much. Be with people you love. We'll be here when you're ready to start your next project.
